Big Bang Startup Challenge 2023 All Star: Rising Star Entrepreneurs’ Victory Stories
Since 2012, the Big Bang Startup Challenge has hosted many successful startups and has been the cornerstone of countless success stories. For the 2023 edition, we introduced the Big Bang All Star session for the first time, bringing to the stage the post-Big Bang journeys of hundreds of successful startups.
From now on, every year we will see some of the world’s most successful startups that have gone through Big Bang back on stage.
Let’s take a closer look at the startups we hosted on stage at Big Bang 2023 with Serdar Kuzuloğlu’s entertaining conversation. In this article, you’ll find the success stories of Büyütech’s rise in the automotive industry, RePG’s renewable energy projects and Vivoo’s achievements in health technology.
Büyütech: A growing force in the automotive industry
Büyütech stood out in the 2020 Big Bang Startup Challenge. Co-founder Ömer Orkun Düztaş shares the journey and goals of Büyütech, a 9-year-old startup that has entered the automotive sector. The company has achieved success by becoming Turkey’s first automotive camera production facility and developing camera-based driver assistance systems. Working with major brands such as TOGG, Ford and Tofaş, Büyütech has secured a strong position in the global automotive camera system market.

RePG: Renewable Energy and Water Technologies
RePG Enerji presented a unique technology that generates electricity from the relative humidity of the air at Big Bang 2015. At Big Bang 2023, co-founder Hasan Ayartürk shares the company’s goal to become a global player with its zero carbon emission and sustainable energy concept. Currently exporting to 5 countries, RePG Enerji is on its way to becoming a global company.

Vivoo: Health and Nutrition Technology
Vivoo appeared on the Big Bang stage in 2015 with technologies developed for the livestock sector. It has since pivoted to the healthy living sector. The startup, which offers at-home health tests and personalised nutrition recommendations, now exports to more than 100 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, and consumers can buy their products from major brands such as Target and CVS.
Co-founder Miray Tayfun highlights the investment support they have received in a short period of time: “We have raised a total of $6.6 million in three separate rounds in 2017, 2019 and 2021. Our investors include 500 Istanbul, Draper Associates, Techstars, ONCE Ventures, Revo Capital, 500 Startups, Global Ventures and Halogen Ventures”.
