DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS OF İTÜ ARI TEKNOKENT BIG BANG STARTUP CHALLENGE

  1. Identity of Data Controller

As ARI TEKNOKENT PROJE GELİŞTİRME PLANLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (TIN: 0740264905) (“İTÜ ARI Teknokent” or the “Company”), holding the title of data controller pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDPL” or the “Law”) and the title of service provider pursuant to the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages (“Regulation”), we pay the utmost attention to the security of your personal data. In this context, personal data of all data subjects with whom we are in interaction are processed and stored in accordance with the PDPL, secondary legislation enacted under the Law (regulations, communiqués, etc.), and binding decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board. This data protection statement has been prepared for the purpose of informing you regarding your personal data being processed.

·  To use for statistical analysis, reporting, and event development activities based on participant profiles (provided that the data is anonymized).

·  To enhance the visibility of participants and initiatives, and to share with investors, entrepreneurs and stakeholders within the ecosystem.

On the basis of your explicit consent,

  1. Data Subjects Rights

You may, at any time, contact İTÜ ARI Teknokent to request a declaration under Article 11 of the Law: a) b) to learn whether personal data has been processed or not, c) to request information if personal data has been processed, ç) to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether personal data is used in accordance with its purpose, d) to know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad, d) to request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, e) to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 f) to request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred, g) to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, ğ) In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, requesting the compensation of the damage; You can submit your rights and your requests regarding the implementation of the Law by filling out the application form that you can obtain from us or with the conditions bearing the minimum elements written below;

  • Send it with wet-ink signature “Reşit Paşa Mah. Katar Cad. No:4 İç Kapı No: 1101 34467 Sarıyer, İstanbul” via notary public, by registered mail with return receipt requested at your discretion for ease of proof or by your personal application,
  • By sending an e-mail to kisiselverilerim@ariteknokent.com.tr using the e-mail address notified to the Company by you and registered in the Company system.

İTÜ ARI Teknokent reserves the right to amend this Data Protection Statement at any time due to reasons arising from the Law, secondary legislation, and the binding decisions of the Board
